We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

Project Owner: William Wichman
Type of Wood: Honduras Mahogany
Finish: clear stain
Dimensions: 24" by 24"
Description:
This carving was created several years ago when Honduras Mahogany was still readily available. The day I finished it, I carelessly propped it up against the mantle to see how the lighting impacted it and it fell, cracking in half. Repairs were made, but the crack (and lesson) still can be seen down the middle of the carving.
