I like books by Chris Pye. In wood carving fish all components intersect in this sculpture and it has smooth curves. You must see especially in areas where there are shadows because that's where the fish and seaweed is separated. I've learned that pine carving wood is horrible. Errors are best solved with sandpaper. This project comes from the original Pierced Relief by Chris Pye (the book Woodcarving Course & Reference Manual. page 128). CONGRATULATIONS Chris Pye by the design of this sculpture.
