Description:
Although I have been an artist for many years (2D processes)I have been carving very regularly (almost every day) for just close to 2 years now. This project was inspired by Howard Suzuki's information-packed book "The Carver's Book of Aquatic Animals". He provides many drawings and patterns to get you on your way. My adaption is more detailed using wood-burning and transparent stains that still allow the beautiful figure of the wood to come through.
