Description:
This is my first real relief carving. This chest was featured in Fine Woodworking Magazine a couple of years back. In that chest, the carving was done with a router and the relief was not rounded and the design was a floral design. When my youngest daughter got married I wanted to make it special and since she loved celtic knots that is what I carved. It turned out very nice and I had approximately 300 hours in the project. My granddaughter is the model in the photo
