We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

Description:
A huge thanks to Chris and all the students with me at the Center For Furniture Craftsmanship Master Carving workshop this summer - Rockport Maine. I finished it! This mantle was installed this AM - awaits a bit more finish rub out. Rather than carving the cherry directly Chris recommended I use mahogany with the paper-sandwich method. I divided the carving task into ten pieces & applied it to the cherry floating panel.
