Project Owner: john clarke
Type of Wood: Lime
Finish: Acrylic lawyer and beeswax
Dimensions: 12”x11”
Description:
First time around I stained & varnished and it came out blotchy. I scraped and removed and finished the surface again. The background was better than my earlier pieces but I still have a long way to go. I experimented with a thumbnail border. I find borders and frames tricky to get straight & square as the grain takes over.
This project was done by a carver with less than 12 months experience.
