Description:
This was my entry to the British Woodcarvers AGM competition in May. The AGM was held in Wales and the competition theme was “Dragons”. The text is a bit of fun that I picked up from a bumper sticker - I’ve checked and no-one seems to have copyright on it. I’ve always loved gothic lettering and Chris’s recent workshop on Black Letter carving inspired me to try this, so my thanks to him for the nudge. I loved carving these letters which are surprisingly straightforward to carve. The font was taken from a stone carving book I have.
