Description:
I was given an print of Escher's Sea and Sky when I was 21! 50 years ago. Having started carving after I retired I thought I would carve it using line carving, through cavo relievo, low, mid and high relief. I bleached the lime and darkened areas with a walnut stain. The staining was very tricky and still is uneven.
