We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

Dimensions: About 12 inches high.
Description:
I decided to challenge myself with something that involved more detail than the stylised carvings normally attempted. At least it couldn't be wrong as apparently few people have actually seen one! I also used a tool finish rather than sanding. The white was achieved using a permenant ink pen, lightly applied to let the wood show through. Much easier then paint and which does not drip. Hardly an original design but fun.
