Description:
As with the Pug carving, I used hand tools on this one until carving the finer details. I then switched to a small power tool. As far as my inspiration, for many years my husband & I have roamed the Montana woods with friends who own hounds in order to tree cougars so that I could photograph them. These magnificent animals are so secretive they are seldom seen in the wild without the aid of hounds..
