We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

Description:
This is my first relief carving after taking Chris's class. Always before, I have carved in the round. Some of the finer details were done with a power tool. My inspiration was that I simply love the look of all sight hounds but especially Salukis and have always wanted to carve one. With their slender legs & tails, though, I was afraid that they would be too fragile in the round.
