Kanji carving

Project Owner: William Lewis
Type of Wood: African "mahogany"
Finish: Tried and True Original
Dimensions: 8" x 24"

Description:

The idea for this comes from one of Chris's projects in his Woodcarver's Reference Manual (?). The Kanji here mean "One moment is worth a thousand pieces of gold." Lacking the ability to draw, I relied on a printout of a particular Kanji font, but a "looser" or more fanciful design (as Chris employed in his Kanji carving) would be better.
