Description:
I carved this within the first two years of carving (now 4.5 years experience). I have always been captivated by the subtle, but clear emotional expressions of the human face. This was an attempt to demonstrate this by placing a few common expressions within the same display. As I was carving the individual faces, my wife wanted a juniper bush/tree removed from her landscaping. the bowl in this carving is from the base of that juniper. The bowl is hand carved and sanded smooth. I added the whip.
