We love showcasing our members carvings; after all, getting people to carve is what Woodcarving Workshops is all about! In the gallery you’ll see a wide range of carvings, from novice to advanced; each one the result of time and effort, inspiration and dedication. We value them all!

Description:
My thanks to John Rodenhurst for getting me started on carving in the round and explaining how to tackle this nuthatch. But it wasn't until I'd done Chris's beginners' course that I had the confidence to use my gouges to put feathers on this little bird. It is also my first use of pyrography.
