Description:
copied from Chris's article. I was pleasantly surprised that the beeswax brought out the pink colour of the Lime - it's usually a dirty yellow. I was going to carve the grandchildrens' names but I'd put so much effort into the book I didn't want to risk it. Similarly writing it on in ink or paint risked it wicking in to wood. So I chose vinyl lettering which looks good, I'm keeping the superglue handy in case they move. I discovered an old family spokeshave and have found it to be very useful on convex surfaces
