12 Focussing

Bringing the bosting stage into the modelling...

This is now a third 'pass' around the carving. We should have passed through what I call the 'Point of Recognition' and be able to 'see' the Merlin. 'Modelling' is where we start a last definition of the surface, ready for details but I'm calling it 'focussing', to emphasise the process. It's as if we start off with a big unfocussed picture and then gradually tighten and bring the forms into focus.
