8 Focussing part 2

It may seem that I'm making a lot of work for myself, sitting our Pelican on a post like this, but I have chosen to carve a version of the original and part of its charm for me lies in how the original carver used the block of wood.

And then, the the thing is, you've got to sit the Pelican somewhere!
