Here's a lesson about spokeshaves and using them to shape wood. Make sure your spokeshave is really sharp and set finely for the last cuts, which you can choose as your final surface finish.

Thanks for the references to the amount of time you took to do each section or task. It gives us a RELATIVE scale, but as I know, the time it takes me is several factors (grin). Love the masking tape technique. I see where I can use that elsewhere.
