8 Third Pass

As the third 'pass' makes its impact, you can see the forms of the flowers and buds have been really developed.

Always in carving, there is an early chaotic stage that lasts until an 'Aha!' moment when you can clearly see, or visualise, what you are after. After I get past this point (through bosting or a series of 'passes') I feel choas is behind me and I'm over what is arguably the most difficult stage of the carving; I can see my way forward more clearly and start to relax.
