It's really important to get at all the parts of your woodcarving conveniently and, sometimes, you need to switch the way you hold your work. So here: from the initial heavy bosting on the bench I moved to an adjustable carving device (a 'Jerry-Rig Carving Vise') to get at the sides more easily.
This second bosting 'pass' places the flowers more strongly and accurately, but still nothing is too fixed as yet. Each flower is relative to the one next to it so there's a lot of lateral thinking to do! Visualise into the wood.
No undercutting or details.
